Epiphany Sunday began a diocesan-wide program to raise funds for the rebuilding of Holy Trinity cathedral, Port-au-Prince, Haiti, which was devastated in the January 2010 earthquake. (see article in the VISIONS for more information) The “Brick-by-Brick” campaign runs from Epiphany through Easter 2012. To help, you can sponsor one or more “bricks” for the tax-deductible donation of $10 each. Make checks payable to St. Mary’s Episcopal Church and write “Haiti Cathedral” or “Brick-by-Brick” as the notation.

There will be a Quiet Day of Reflections at St. Mary's on Saturday, February 25 from 9:30 A.M. - 1 P.M.

On Sunday, March 4, 11:30 we will have a training for chapel leaders and substitutes. Monica Romano (Youth and Young Adult Ministries Coordinator for the diocese), Missy Prichett and Nick Joy will lead the training. Rob Simas, who made the beautiful clerestory colored window set in the chapel, will offer teaching suggestions using the colors and symbols. Nick and Missy will be leading the chapel at 10 that day, and invite leaders and substitutes to observe.
